What to Expect

Complimentary Meeting

Let’s get to know each other! Come with any questions you may have and let’s see if we would be a good fit.

Discovery Meeting

During this meeting we begin to nail down what is important to you. What would you like to accomplish? What are your values? Answers to these questions and more will help us make sure we create a plan that takes into consideration your priorities, first and foremost.

Gathering Meeting

Now that we have a better sense of where you’d like to go, we need to figure out where we are starting. This is the point in the process where we will gather all of your financial information and be able to show you a clear financial picture. There is no need to be nervous if you don’t feel like you are as far along as you should be. We operate in a no judgement zone. The important thing is you are actively taking the steps needed to secure your financial future.

Priority Meeting

In this meeting, we will address the issue that originally brought you to Harrison Financial Planning.

Ongoing Meetings

After addressing your top concerns we can then move on to other areas of your financial plan.

Our Fee Schedule

It is important to us that our fees are completely transparent and that you understand what you are paying for our advisory services.

Our minimum annual fee is $6,000 and can be paid monthly or quarterly. This fee covers ongoing financial planning and asset management of up to $625,000.

For those with assets under management (AUM)* of greater than $625,000 the following fee schedule applies.

Account Asset Value Range (For Clients with AUM > $625,000)
Asset Based Fee
$0 $500,000 1.00%
$500,000 $1,000,000 0.80%
$1,000,000 $2,500,000 0.60%
$2,500,000 $5,000,000 0.40%
$5,000,000 and greater 0.30%

Our asset-based fee is based on a blended tier. For example, a client whose combined accounts equal $750,000 would pay 1% annually on the first $500,000 and .8% on the remainder for a blended rate of .933%.

*Assets under management (AUM) include accounts that Harrison Financial Planning directly manages for you, such as traditional and Roth IRAs and investment accounts. Assets under management do not include accounts such as your employer retirement plans and accounts you plan to manage yourself or assets such as real estate.

Hourly Financial Planning

At Harrison Financial Planning, we also offer hourly financial planning for those needing assistance with more isolated planning matters. Examples include help with setting up retirement accounts, selecting investments, choosing employer benefits, determining the best use of an inheritance, retirement projections, and paying down debt versus investing decisions. Our current hourly rate is $350/hour.
